Statement from the artist: For the last few years Polaroid film has been my main medium, exploring the sculptural aspects of the raw materials. The initial exposure still plays a major role, as it sets the story and guides the chemical distortion into creating a new landscape. ‘if you stay in a place like this…’ encompasses all the wild and beautiful things that come to us when we let go of the control we equate with comfort and safety.
